Its programming features a wide range of theatrical productions including comedy, horror, historical and musical theater, as well as dance. It's a medium-sized theater that holds up to 455 spectators and you'll find it alongside one of Madrid's major cultural centers (Círculo de Bellas Artes) in a beautiful listed building. It opened in 1961 and it's director, José Tamayo, uses it as a base for his own acting company.
