Volksparkstadion is one of Germany's most impressive sports arenas. The stadium hosted the 2006 FIFA World Cup finals and is currently home to Hamburger SV football team, along with serving as a venue for major concerts. The most famous match to have taken place here was the legendary 1974 FIFA World Cup duel between West and East Germany. It was the first time these two teams were ever pitted against one another.
