The open-air pool belongs to the Universidad de Extremadura and can be found in the middle of the university campus, surrounded by a well-tended lawn and a few trees that provide some shade from the blistering summer sun. It is open during the summer months and has a little bar with a terrace. The general public are charged quite a high entry fee because the pool is primarily for the use of university students, but this also helps to keep the numbers down.
