This relatively peaceful park in the southwest corner of the old city is a welcome oasis of greenery for visitors (of both the feathered and two-legged varieties). A large expanse of lush lawn provides the stage for a harmonious play of palms, vibrant flowers, water basins, fountains, quaint white footbridges and a scattering of snack vendors. This is a good place to jog, picnic or just kick back and enjoy nature. The high concentration of greenery makes the city's pollution a little less noticeable here.
