Nalen has a history dating back to 1888 when the building was used for public events such as political rallies and bazaars. From the 1930s through the 1960s it was a popular entertainment spot in the nation. And then for three decades till 1997 it was used by the Levi Petri Foundation. Owned by the Swedish Artists and Musicians Interest Organization (SAMI) since 1998, this historic place is back to entertaining and regaling music lovers. The structure also consists of a bar and restaurant as well as has conference facilities. Its vintage beauty is reflected in its arched and decorated ceiling, gold trimmings, delicate chandeliers, plush draperies and huge ornate mirrors. Restored to its former glory, it is fully equipped to host modern gigs, business meetings and parties.
