Depending upon your age and interests, this park represents different things. For children it's the circus, for adolescents perhaps roller-skating and skateboarding, for the older members of the public maybe the bowls. It's also home of the flea market. But for everyone, whatever their age, it's a wonderful green open space right in the middle of the city. It extends over an area of 7.8 hectares (19.27 acres), dates back to the 17th Century and was the setting for the National Exhibition of 1896.
