Open Book is a three-level literary melting pot. It is located in three renovated century-old buildings in downtown Minneapolis. Established in 2000, it is the collaborated effort of The Loft Literary Center, Milkweed Editions and Minnesota Center for Book Arts. It is a forum where creative minds come together to create unique works, peruse rare volumes, meet at book clubs and increase an awareness for the written word. In this digital age, where reading a paper book is becoming rare, Open Book encourages this hobby with their many programs and events.
