As one of the largest theater and concert venues on the south coast, the BIC regularly plays host to big name live acts, from Craig David to Alice Cooper. It forms part of a group with the Pavilion Theater. The venue has one large concert hall, mainly used for the bigger-named acts, plus smaller halls for multi-purpose use. Pop, rock and musical shows are the main itinerary, together with pantomimes and stage productions. Political party conferences are also hosted every year. The venue affords spectacular views over Bournemouth and the seafront and has a number of large, fully licensed bars plus a restaurant.
