Sanam Luang is a lovely green space that stretches a vast 30 acres and is located directly in front of the main entrance to the royal palace. The space was originally used as a crematorium site for members of the royal family. However, despite its past, the park is absolutely brimming with life. This stunning green space is a wonderful place to relax in between temple touring, and is a great spot to do some people watching. The flat field at the center of the park is great flying kites with your children, or for playing a game of football with friends.
