The Veterans Memorial Coliseum is an indoor arena recognized for its architectural significance. You will find the Portland Winterhawks, a hockey team, here from September through March. While they are the main attraction on the ice, other skating shows and competitions also take place. Concerts and community events are scheduled throughout the year in this venue, which is located near the Convention Center in Northeast Portland. The stadium is encased in a large glass structure that keeps Portlanders dry and comfortable during events. After the Rose Garden, it is the biggest draw in the Rose Quarter.
