The Golden Hinde is a living history museum educating schools and visitors about the fascinating history of the first English ship, captained by Francis Drake, to circumnavigate the globe in the 16th century. The Golden Hinde is a full size authentic reconstruction and has sailed much further than the original. She has been berthed in St Mary Overie Dock near London Bridge since 1996. The Golden Hinde is a unique venue in the centre of London hosting diverse events from live music nights to family sleepovers and is available for private hire.
