elBulli1846 is a restaurant converted into a museum. In fact, it’s the first of its kind. This one-of-a-kind space has been designed to preserve the heritage of elBulli, promote innovation and spawn quality subject matter for edifying and helping people learn about culinary restoration. From Cala Montjoi, Roses, Costa Brava, Girona, Catalonia, Spain, elBulli1846 opens a nearly-4000 sq meter space for over 2 hours of touring, eliciting gastronomic and innovational reflection, attributes Bullinianos with this success and lays bare elBulli’s history and the projects espoused by elBullifoundation, such as Bullipedia and elBulliDNA. elBulli1846 is open to the general public for six months a year, and for the remainder of the year, it is transformed into elBulliDNA, devoted to research, experimentation and dissemination of the subject matter spawned by way of proposals and projects involving teams from multiple disciplines.
