St Joseph North Pier Inner Lighthouse is located at the point where the St. Joseph River meets Lake Michigan. One of the two famous lighthouses in the town, the inner lighthouse sits atop the breakwater overlooking the pristine waters of the lake. Constructed in 1907, the historic structure is now a symbol of pride and heritage for the townspeople. A beautiful catwalk leads up to the lighthouse and connects it to the Outer Light. When in town, stroll down the pier on a breezy evening, witness a breathtaking sunset, and pose for lovely photos at the iconic lighthouse.
