Peering over the cityscape of Northern Amsterdam is A'DAM Toren, a magnificent tower that houses some of the most upscale restaurants and bars as well as offices of affluent companies in the city. Standing tall at 22 floors, although it doesn't boast of dizzying heights, its design and grandeur make it nothing short of an architectural gem and landmark in the city. Originally built in 1971 as an office to the oil company Royal Dutch Shell, it was revamped in 2016 and is since one of the most commercial and buzzing buildings in the city. It is home to A'DAM Lookout, an observational deck that attracts hordes of tourists and other extravagant establishments like MADAM Restaurant and Bar, Sir Adam Hotel and Moon Revolving Restaurant. This towering building can be reached through a ferry as well as through public modes of transportation.
