The Chinese Arts Centre successfully aims to profile the best in Chinese art and culture with the help of regular exhibitions, workshops and talks. It also runs a commissioning project to encourage indigenous Chinese artists by supporting them in their working lives through the provision of technical aid, marketing and publicity resources. One such example in the past was a refurbishment exhibition where members of the public are invited to bring in unwanted trinkets for artists to restore and sell. Exhibits like this and permanent art installations are offered at the center. After perusing the exhibits, guests are invited to spend some time at the tea house and resource area on site. Reservations can me made for events and business functions at the Jasmine Suite located in the center's lower level.
