One of the most renowned art museums in Manitowoc, Rahr West Art Museum is located in the historic Joseph Vilas Jr. House, showcasing a variety of contemporary artwork. Exhibits include paintings, portraits, handicraft, artifacts and showpieces that were made by local artists and artisans. Events such as the famous Sputnikfest have been hosted here annually.
