A splendid, Victorian property, the Park-McCullough House is one of North Bennington's stunning historic structures. Built in 1865 by Trenor W. Park, an enterprising American attorney, the house is visually arresting. In anticipation of President Benjamin Harrison's upcoming visit, the house underwent a comprehensive restoration in 1890. The mansion includes 35 large rooms and sits on a property covering 200 acres (80 hectares) of land. An embodiment of the Romantic Revival style and the Second Empire Style of architecture, it was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1972. This house is also fantastic as an event venue for public or private occasions.
