210 South Court Street, Montgomery, AL, United States, 36104
In order to remind the public about the gruesome riots in 1961 during the Civil Rights Movement, the Greyhound bus station has been converted into the Freedom Riders Museum in 2011. The Museum captures the essence of the riots, those who fought for civil rights and those who opposed it. The museum building is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and also claimed the National Trust for Historic Preservation award in 2012.
