The Yonkers Public Library is nestled in the heart of the city and is a cultural and entertainment hub. This spacious four-floor building features a large library that boasts an excellent collection of books, magazines, electronic media, movies, DVDs, free computer and Wi-Fi access, and many other top-notch facilities. The study rooms on the higher floors offer refreshing views of the river and the city center and is a great place for some reading or quiet study. There also is a large event space that hosts music concerts, exhibitions, plays, and other local events, and a number of conference and meeting rooms that are available for rent. The building is very well maintained and clean and the staff and librarians are always friendly and happy to help.
