If you are a lover of art and design then take a free tour at the Chicago's Design Museum. The niche museum is located on the third floor of Block Thirty Seven. The mission of this Design Museum is to strengthen design culture and build a community of designers by the exchange of knowledge and through experiences. The exhibitions organized here focus on a wide array of designs that encompasses graphic design, interior design, architecture, urban planning and much more. A great place to meet designers and lovers of art, the museum organizes programs that are collaborative and community-based and relies on volunteers for exhibiting designs and manage other museum functions. Admission is free and donations are appreciated. There is also a small gift shop within the museum which sells merchandise and products of local designers.
