Descend the dark stairs below Michigan Avenue and 'Butt on in' as the sign says. This place is famous for its nefarious affiliation with the Chicago Cubs baseball club as well as its hilarious rendition by John Belushi of owner Sam Sianis' famous line, "Cheezborger, cheezborger, cheezborger, no Pepsi... Coke". From Saturday Night Live to curses with professional baseball teams, the Billy Goat Tavern is truly a part of Chicago history. In addition to cheap Old Style and burgers, don't forget to check out the old Mike Royko columns and other photographs of Chicago Tribune greats on the walls. One more thing, the kitchen does not serve fries here, only chips.
