Govardhan Puja, also known as Annakoot, is a Hindu festival celebrated on the fourth day of Diwali celebrations. On this day, devotees offer a variety of vegetarian food items ranging from pulses and lentils to sweetmeats, to the deities as a mark of thanks. It is mainly celebrated in the North Indian states of Bihar, Haryana, Punjab and Uttar Pradesh.
