The Cult is a British post-punk goth rock band that was created in Yorkshire in 1983. As one of the most influential rock bands in Britain, The Cult's first album, Dreamtime, was released in 1984. Its heavy metal mystic sound is supported by its long-winded guitar productions, which creates an alternative style reminiscient of Led Zeppelin and The Doors.
