To Heal And Comfort: Health And Death In The Hart Cluett House

Using resources from the Hat Papers and Cluett diaries and papers this tour will focus on the various family member’s experiences with health and death in the house, from childbirth, to epidemics and disease. We will also discuss funeral and burial practices as we explore two floors of the house.Details:Combination tours of the museum exhibition galleries and the Hart Cluett House are available on the Second Saturday of the month from May through November at 2pm. Combination Tickets cost $20 per adult (age 17 and under are free) and include a copy of The Marble House, a book about the history of the Hart Cluett House. Tours last approximately 60 minutes.*Masks are optional, but recommended at all in person, indoor events.
