Fury in the Slaughterhouse is a post-grunge band from Hannover, Germany. It was formed by siblings Kai-Uwe and Thorsten Wingenfelder, Christof Stein, Hannes Schafer and Rainer Schumann, in a small backyard in 1987. The band's self-titled debut album was released in early 1989 - the same year that keyboardist Gero Drnek joined the band. In 1993, the band gained international recognition with its hit "Every Generation Got Its Own Disease -" a dignified statement about AIDS which was played on modern rock stations and MTV in America. Fury in the Slaughterhouse's other popular songs include "Sometimes (Stop to Call)" and "We believe in sometimes."
