After helping reinvent rock music in the mid-'60s with an intensely electrified sound, The Who continued on into their twilight years in true fashion. Comprised of lead guitarist and songwriter Pete Townshend, lead singer Roger Daltry, bass guitarist John Entwistle, and drummer Keith Moon, the Who revolutionized rock and roll through a variety of concept albums, outstanding live shows and other sonic inventions that would go on to influence a whole new generation of musicians. Today, despite losing both the founding drummer and bassist, the English group still soldiers on and tours quite frequently.
