Deemed the largest international art/design exhibition in Asia, the Design Festa is a bi-annual two-day event that showcases creative ideas from both independent and professional artists. Passionate expression finds its outlet through a wide spectrum of mediums such as digital art, fashion, music, performance art, crafts etc. Several thousand exhibitors participate each year and around 50,000 regularly attend. Located inside the intriguing architectural walls of the Tokyo Big Sight, there are plenty of artworks to enjoy and friendly artists to talk with. Much of the artwork on display can also be purchased, so make sure you've got enough cash. - Erin Sanchez
