Birmingham, Alabama-based outfit Erra is a progressive metalcore band that emerged in 2009. With a sound that combines post hardcore into a melodic, technically-driven brand of metalcore, the band quickly dropped its self-titled debut EP only months after it was formed. On the heels of its second EP, 2010's Andromeda, Erra offered its first full-length effort in the form of Impulse, in 2011.
