The Providence Bruins take their name after the boys from Boston and they play in the American Hockey League's Atlantic Division. Established in 1992-93, the team arose from the ashes of the former Maine Mariners. Since then, the junior Bruins have one Calder Cup title, and they have also finished atop the Atlantic Division standings five different times. Moreover, the club uses the same colors as the Boston clan and they play their games at the 11,000 seat Dunkin' Donuts Center.
