Die Seer is an Austrian band that makes a style of music that blends contemporary pop with the quintessential German schlager to create a unique and wholly original type of music that has gone over well with the mainstream listening public. Formed in 1995, the band didn't waste any time recording its 1996 debut album, Über'n See, which performed extremely well on the charts and helped attract a substantial fan base. Known for its massive concerts at large arenas and outdoor stadiums, Die Seer fills its live performances with various visual spectacles, including throngs of synchronized dancers, impressive lighting rigs and pyrotechnics.
