CT Salsa Fest (Connecticut Salsa Festival) is a community-based, family-oriented dance event for adults and youths. This is our 15th Annual event, and there's something for everyone!
Dance showcases by Adults & Youths. Enjoy spectacular dance performances by adults & youths--over 125 dance teams--from amateur to professional from CT, New York, New Jerser, Florida, Philadelphia, Massachusettes, RI, Colombia, and Venezuela.
Dance workshops. Learn from elite, professional dance instructors who travel the world to teach the best of Salsa, Bachata, Cha-Cha, Tricks & Lifts, Huste and more!
Music. Popular DJs, a live band Sunday night--Enjoy Frankie Morales and his orchestra Mambo of the Times
Social dancing. Every night, all night--til 4am!

Children & Dance. We do all we can to share & encourage this love of dance & music with children. Youth Performers (17 & under) perform and do workshops for free.
Fighting the good fight. We have a special place in our hearts for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Sunday May 26 will mark our 10th Annual St. Jude Fundraiser held in the Hilton hotel's lovely Pavillion with live & silent auctions plus special entertainment to raise funds to battle childhood cancer. CT Salsa Fest 2019 - FAQs
When and where does the event take place? The CT Salsa Fest will take place at the Hilton Stamford Hotel located at 1 First Stamford Place in Stamford, CT 06902. The doors open on Friday, May 24, 2019 at 6pm and close on Monday, May 27 at around 4:00am!
What is the general schedule? Dance workshops will occur during the day on Saturday, 5/25 and Sunday, 5/26 from approximately 10:00am to 3:00pm. Youth showcases will be on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday night from approximately 6:00pm to 8:00pm. Adult performances follow from approximately 9:00pm to 11:30pm, then there is social dancing from 11:30pm to 4:00am Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights. One room will be available for social dancing while adult performances are going on. CT Salsa Fest reserves the right to change the schedule of events, and make any other necessary changes as necessary to ensure a safe and smooth event. CT Salsa Fest shall not be held liable for any damages as a result of schedule changes.
What is the price of a ticket? There are many ticket options. For the full list, please visit us on EventBrite:
What is the refund policy? All sales are final. No refunds. All tickets are non-transferrable.
Can I pay at the door? You can purchase tickets at the door with cash or a credit/debit card, however, the price will be higher. We encourage you to pre-purchase online using the EventBrite link in the previous question.
Will I need ID to pick up my pre-purchased ticket? Yes. Students 14 years old and older should bring school ID. Adults should bring ID to collect their pre-purchased tickets. Parents who purchase tickets for younger children will also need to show ID.
Can I buy a ticket just for social dancing? No, all adult evening pass prices include access to the shows and the social dancing. If you are interested in only seeing the youth showcase, you can purchase a separate ticket for that.
Are youth allowed in the social dances? Youth performers are allowed in the youth social dances for free, but will need to pay $25 to upgrade their tickets to attend the adult social dancing. Youth who do not perform, but would like to attend the youth social dancing may buy a ticket through EventBrite or at the door.
Where can I find out the workshop schedule or when I will perform? Both of these schedules will be available by April if not sooner. Please check back on our website often for the full schedule of events! The exact showcase line-up during SalsaFest weekend will be provided after tech rehearsal on the day of the performance.
Can I purchase a pass for a single youth or adult performance only? Tickets to the evening shows (performances) are only available for the entire evening showcase each night. Adults can buy the youth showcase ticket for the entire youth showcase for that night, or can purchase the adult evening pass which gives them access to both youth and adult showcases and social dancing for that night.
How do I reserve a hotel room? What is the price? Please visit our website for all information about the Hilton Hotel and room costs: https://www.ctsalsafest.com/venue. On this page, there are also links to hotel services including the restaurant, nearby attractions, and local restaurants in downtown Stamford.
Where can I park and what are the parking rates? The overnight rate for guests of the hotel is $10. Valet overnight parking is $23. If you are not staying at the hotel, just attending the event, parking fees are lower depending on the amount of time you stay. For example, 2-4 hours parked is $4.
