With a penchant for cosmopolitan lifestyle and musical ingenuity, Igor Stravinsky managed to write several ballets and neo-classical arrangements, becoming one of the more revered composers of his generation. Born in Russia at the end of the 19th century, Stravinsky soon became an adept piano player and started writing his own compositions. Having an affection for progressive thinking, Stravinsky used inventive compositional quirks to add flavor to his music and by doing this Stravinsky was venturing out into uncharted musical waters. The works were met with acclaim and Stravinsky is widely considered to be one of the more inventive and and progressive composers to have ever lived.
