After first establishing herself in the UK pop scene with a handful of collaborative efforts with Craig David, Rita Ora has since emerged as an up-and-coming solo talent in her own right. Born in Kosovo in 1990, her parents moved the family to London soon after, where she has lived ever since. Her dream to one day be a pop singer began at an early age, and by the time she was 19, Ora was finding a devoted fan base that would grow to include big names such as Jay-Z, who promptly commissioned her to come meet and work with him in New York City. Her pure and wide-ranged voice lends itself perfectly to the neo soul and R&B-influenced pop she creates, and has led to a number of ever-increasing opportunities, including opening for Brit-pop heavyweights, Coldplay.
