Norman Jay is a British DJ who rose to prominence by playing warehouse parties around London during the 1980s. Borrowing from classic 1970s and 1980s funk, soul and jazz, he creates a distinctive brand of house music with a diverse understanding of musical history. Jay continues to act as a mainstay in the UK's DJ scene with an ongoing radio show on BBC London as well as his own Funk Factory series on BBC Radio 2.
