Robert Edward Davis or B-Tight, how he calls himself, is one of the rappers that ascended to fame and stardom as a member of the German hip-hop label Aggro Berlin in the early 2000s. Born in Palm Springs, California to a German mother and an African American father, Davis moved to Berlin at a young age and grew up there. Together with his roommate, the soon-to-become-famous rapper Sido, B-Tight made his first steps into the rap scene of Berlin and later both of them signed at Aggro Berlin. Davis sells the attitude of gangsta and ghetto rap and his lyrics are often considered to be sexist, violent and also racist. His 2007 album Neger Neger, for example, was X-rated in 2008 and is not allowed to be sold anymore.
