JEFF the Brotherhood CANCELLED
[]
Notorious for playing spontaneous rock shows on the rooftops of Nashville, brother Jake and Jamin Orall formed Jeff the Brotherhood in 2006 to channel its raucous energy into a garage-inspired indie rock project. Though the brothers had been releasing limited addition records and touring throughout the 2000s, Jeff the Brotherhood began to see national attention with the release of its fifth studio album Heavy Days, in 2009. The band captured a national audience with its stripped down rock and roll tinged with psych flourishes as well as industry attention that led to a collaborative EP with Best Coast and a live album released through Jack White's Third Man Records. In the subsequent years, Jeff the Brotherhood's media exposure skyrocketed with the band's television and major festival debuts as well as back to back studio albums in 2011 and 2012.
