In this class you will learn:

How 3D printing works

How to prepare an existing 3D model for printing

What tools you can use to create your own 3D models

How to specifically print on an Ultimaker 3D printer

Who is this class good for?

Anyone interested in 3D printing and making things! This is a beginner's class, so all are welcome.

Price: Free for Reno Collective members, $10 for non-members

Instructor: Nick Williams

Nick Williams is an independent consultant working with medical instrumentation, He has been a professional developer since 1995. Nick attended California State University of Sacramento, and Graduated in 1994. Nick has been active in the maker community since 2012, he owns a variety of 3d printers, CNC mills and laser equipment. In January of 2015 he successfully funded the "Laser Ink" on Kickstarter and launched his business Objectworks that February. Nick will be presenting material and classes at the Reno Collective related to 3D printing and using laser cutters.
