Paris Saint-Germain, better known as PSG, is a professional football club founded in 1970 by a group of businessmen. The Parc des Princes (Prince's Park) is the team's home stadium, while the Camp des Loges is where the club trains. In 2012, Quatar Sports Investments became the club's owner and at the same time Paris Saint-Germain became the richest football club in France. Offering high salaries to players, PSG recruited some of the best footballers in the world including David Beckham, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Thiago Silva, Javier Pastore, and David Luiz. The traditional color of the team is blue with a red central vertical bar on the jersey. The club has also its own anthem, "Allez Paris Saint-Germain", which is sung to "Go West" by The Pet Shop Boys. PSG's trophy cabinet is loaded with several Ligue 1, Coupe de France, Coupe de la Ligue and Trophée des Champions titles. Additionally, the club has also won the UEFA Winner's Cup and UEFA Intertoto's Cup. Each year, the "Classico," between PSG and its rival L'Olympique de Marseille (OM), is a huge event which often results in confrontations between rival fans.
