Snoh Alegra a.k.a Snoh Nowrozi is a Swedish singer-songwriter based out of Los Angeles. Born Shahrazad Fooladi to Persian parents, Alegra started composing music at the age of nine. Her debut single "Hit and Run," released under the name Sheri, did well commercially, reaching the top 20 on the Swedish Singles Charts. In 2014, she featured on American rapper Common's song "Hustle Harder" as Snoh Alegra - an alias that she has performed under ever since. She was mentored by the American legend Prince from 2014 until his death in 2016. After releasing a string of covers, singles and EPs, she went on her first tour North America, with Canadian singer Daniel Caesar. She released her debut album Feels in 2017 and headlined a North American tour with Mereba as the supporting act. Her second album, Ugh, Those Feels Again was a commercial success and featured among the top ten on Billboard's R&B Album Sales and Top R&B Albums charts.
