After the alternative rock band Creed kicked lead singer Scott Stapp out of the band in 2004, due to his long-running alcohol abuse, the remaining members carried on under the Alter Bridge moniker with vocalist Myles Kennedy. The group released its debut album, One Day Remains, in 2004 and since then the group has remained active, releasing additional LPs and keeping a regular performance regime.
