When university buddies John Archer, Doug Falconer and Mark Seymour founded Hunters & Collectors, little did they know that the band would go on to rock audiences for decades. Formed in 1981, the band released its self-titled debut album a year later. The album was a hit amongst fans and critics alike, making it to the top 50 on several Australian music charts. It continued to gain success over the next decade, with the release of albums such as The Jaws of Life, What's a Few Men? and Ghost Nation. Growing success led to a number of new tours and performances around the world.
