Written by legendary Victor Hugo, who wrote Les Misérables and The Hunchback of Notre-Dame along with other pieces of literature that are still considered as impeccable works of art, is a romantic drama named "Hernani." It premiered in Paris at the Comédie-Française in 1830. The tale follows the lives of three men and their pursuit of the girl of their dreams, Doña Sol. The plot is filled with interesting moments along with many twists and turns. Hernani stood as an inspiration for other works of art as well, the most notable one being Verdi's opera Ernani.
