This is a day of tribute for war veterans. Large crowds gather at the Palm Canyon Drive to watch the parade, which is followed by festivities. Held in the sunny spreads of Palm Springs, entertainment here is in the form of musical performances. The military band from the 29 Palms United States Marine Corps base entertains everyone in full finery. Snacks stalls are also in plenty if you are in need of refreshments.
