Arising out of the state of Jalisco, Mexico, the Banda Machos band incorporates traditional Mexican dancing style of quebradita, music style of ranchera, and focus more on using wind instruments for their music. Since 1990, it has been releasing albums year on year. It has teamed up with other local bands to improve and create a more lively and fun style of Banda-music. Its unique style of costumes and contribution towards Quebradita has brought it into the spotlight. It is credited with inventing a new dance form "The Ravine." In the Year 2000, it organized their 20th-anniversary celebration at its home-town of Villa Corona. Some of its most loved songs are "Las Nachas," "La Manguera," and "La Culebra."
