Detroit, MI-native Kash Doll, born Arkeisha Antoinette Knight, has channelized her love for hip-hop and rapping into a stable and successful music career. She spent the initial days of her career playing at popular haunts and charity events in her hometown. After her record deal with a local label came to nothing, she started uploading videos of herself rapping, on social media platforms. She was noticed by Drake through one of these videos, who invited her to open for him on one of his shows in Detroit. In 2015, she dropped the well-received cover video of AV's "Run Me My Money," followed by the online mixtape, Keisha vs Kash Doll later that year. She released the EP The Vault on multiple streaming platforms in 2018, featuring the wildly successful "For Everybody." A few months before signing a record deal with Republic Records, she released her first commercial mixtape Brat Mail, dedicated to her followers. "Ice Me Out," her first major-label release, was released soon after to positive reviews. She was one of the openers on Meek Mill's The Motivation Tour in 2019. That same year, she also released her first full-length record Stacked. Featuring collaborations with the likes of Big Sean, Lil Wayne, Try Songz, lougotcash, Summer Walker and Teyana Taylor, it entered the Billboard 200 chart.
