The Weeks is an alternative rock band from Jackson, Mississippi that blends Southern rock stylings with a defined angsty quality to create a relevant style of music that's well suited for today's multifaceted music scene. Formed in 2006, when its members were between the ages of 14 and 16, the group toured frequently for the first few years after its inception and managed to polish is sound and hone its stage show, before being noticed by members of Kings of Leon--who offered to sign The Weeks to their new record label Serpents and Snakes. Releasing its breakout LP, Dear Bo Jackson, in 2013, the album worked as a proving ground of sorts for The Weeks and showcased a band in true form that's unafraid to work hard to gain a widespread fan base.
