Inspired by the 2003 documentary Afro-Punk, this annual festival celebrates diversity and counterculture with two days of music, art, food and more. Enjoy an eclectic mix of live performances, with everything from soul and blues to folk, rock and hip-hop. Shop for original crafts and fashion by local artisans at the AFROPUNK SPIN THRIFT MARKET, and head to AFROPUNK BITES & BEATS on Navy Street to sample tasty cuisine from more than 25 food trucks. Best of all, admission to AFROPUNK is free (but donations are encouraged). Embrace the spirit of alternative culture and get ready for a weekend of fun!
