Guus Meeuwis is a singer/songwriter and guitarist from Mariahount, Netherlands who first rose to fame during the 1990s in the Flanders region with his band Vagant. Though the group became a fairly well-known act in Western European area, it split up in 2001, prompting Meeuwis to embark on a solo career. Continuing on with his trademark pop refined, soft rock style, Meeuwis has managed to transition almost seamlessly from successful band leader into a noteworthy solo musician.
