Growing up in Buenos Aires in the 1980s, Hernan Cattaneo didn't have much exposure to electronic music, until his friend brought back some house vinyl after a visit to New York. Since then, Cattaneo knew house was his calling and he began honing his skills, eventually landing a gig at Clubland--now one of South America's most renowned clubs--and catching the ear of Paul Oakenfold. Cattaneo was soon invited to tour with Oakenfold and shortly thereafter signed to his record label, giving Cattaneo the opportunity to spin his blend of progressive, tribal and deep house throughout the world. In the late 1990s, Cattaneo was signed on as Cream's resident international DJ, and Cattaneo has appeared at Creamfields and other prominent electronic music festivals on a regular basis ever since.
