Since its formation in 1988, Supersuckers has remained one of the most notable underground country punk acts in the US. Formed in Tucson, AZ the band quickly developed a following with its mix of twangy Southern rock and roll and rollicking punk rock elements. Most notable for its mid-1990s recordings with Sub Pop Records, particularly its first alternative country album Must've Been High, Supersuckers has mastered its raucous sound despite an almost consistently shifting lineup and a short hiatus.
